You’ve likely heard the acronym “STEM” in the media. It stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math—these four areas are still male-dominated in the marketplace.
More and more organizations are trying to change this, through education of girls and young women in these areas. In fact, Ford recently announced a new partnership with “Girls Who Code,” in Palo Alto, California. The purpose of the partnership is to have team members mentor and instruct these young women, encouraging them to delve into technology.
